Sulwhasoo Renewing Kit Care Serum & Firming Cream First First Impression

Sulwhasoo Renewing Kit Care Serum & Firming Cream First First Impression. Would it be worth it to purchase the full size?

This luxury brand of skincare began in 1966 that was formulated by GINSENG; Korea’s signature plant. Developed by Suh Sung-whan. At the heart of Sulwhasoo is Korean herbal medicine, steeped in a long tradition of Eastern holistic philosophy that searches for deeper answers, with a desire to find harmony and balance, and treatments that view the body as a whole. Sulwhasoo Renewing Care Serum

Formulated with Korean medicinal herbs, this serum replenishes moisture and nutrients. Apply before moisturizer

 Sulwhasoo Firming Cream

Nourishes skin inside and out to restore healthy looking skin and resilience. The cream seamlessly absorbs into skin for a naturally healthy complexion. Helps fortify aged and loosened look of the skin, completing an overall younger-looking appearance. Formulated after dedicated research of skin resilience, Sulwhasoo developed JISUN Firming Complex, a special ingredient complex of goji berries, black beans, and arrowroot. The proprietary complex effectively supports a more firm look of the skin. Apply after serum. Used as a moisturizer.

Okay, this brand had the one of the most expensive prices of Korean skincare items I’ve encountered so far. The Firming Cream at full size was priced at $100 for 75 ml.

Would it be worth it to purchase the full size?

After using this cream for 3 days, I do love the formulation of the renewing care serum. It was not scented and dried up without leaving my skin sticky. I used both items at night after my cleanse and tone skincare routine. The firming cream on the other hand was so heavy in moisture. It gave my skin a very dewy almost oily looking appearance which I didn’t mind because I used it before bedtime. It was not scented and only required me a pea sized amount to spread all over my face.  Applied some of it on my neck area too! While using the product, there was not tightness or irritations noted. My skin felt supple and smooth. Dry patches around the edges of my nose and on the sides of my cheeks vanished. Overall, I would consider repurchasing this if not for the expensive price. Blueberry Face Mask with Collagen Review

Let me start this month with another sheet mask review.

Hello November!

Let me greet this month with a sheet mask review and winter is coming! So I’m pulling out all the hydrating products I own to prevent dry patches. Plus an extra coat of sheetmask to keep my skin well moisturized. I hate it when my skin gets dry and flakey. Not only that it looks bad but it also hurts especially when I get dry patches on my lip area. Does anyone suffer the same? Okay enough of me, more on to this review. I purchased this at Daiso for $1.50.

blueberry mask review by

The mask was soaked in essence. I noticed that the material of the mask was rather thin in appearance and closely similar to a tissue wipe in texture. Don’t get me wrong, the mask was soft once initially applied but once it dried up, it kinda got a little itchy.

Clear lightweight jelly textured. Strong sweet berry scent.

There were little cutting lines around the mask to adhere better. The eye and nose “holes” were just enough to let them through. Overall the fitting was just enough for my face.

Left the mask on for a good 30 minutes. The mask was loosing it ability to stay put although it was still a little damp on some areas. As the mask dried, it really resembled and felt like a thick tissue. But it was really soft.

eyeseesomething review's daiso sheet masks

My skin was instantly hydrated. I was hoping for a more “brighter” complexion, but it just made my skin look a bit “flushed”. I love how the essence was well absorbed. The formula of the essence dried up pretty quick after a 15 minutes.  It did  give my face a  very tachy/sticky  feel after which is a familiar result after a sheet mask experience. Because of that, I prefer using sheet masks after my night skin routine. The sticky feel won’t bother me while I sleep on it, but during the day, my skin would definitely  oil up even more.

The collagen and blueberry extracts revitalized my skin’s all over appearance. So a plus for brightening. As you can see, it also moisturized my skin. Immediately my dry patches were gone after a good soak with this mask. I was suppose to jump for joy because I found such an affordable find! But  just after a few minutes, bumps started appearing on my forehead and cheeks which indicated that my skin reacted to the mask! Such a bummer!

Effectiveness– Sorry it irritated my skin. Cheap sometimes can’t be effective.

Packaging🍑 It was cute in a circular purple pack really resembling blueberries.

Price🍑 Affordable @$1.50.
