Blueberry Face Mask with Collagen Review

Let me start this month with another sheet mask review.

Hello November!

Let me greet this month with a sheet mask review and winter is coming! So I’m pulling out all the hydrating products I own to prevent dry patches. Plus an extra coat of sheetmask to keep my skin well moisturized. I hate it when my skin gets dry and flakey. Not only that it looks bad but it also hurts especially when I get dry patches on my lip area. Does anyone suffer the same? Okay enough of me, more on to this review. I purchased this at Daiso for $1.50.

Mask:

The mask was soaked in essence. I noticed that the material of the mask was rather thin in appearance and closely similar to a tissue wipe in texture. Don’t get me wrong, the mask was soft once initially applied but once it dried up, it kinda got a little itchy.

Essence:

Clear lightweight jelly textured. Strong sweet berry scent.

Fitting:

There were little cutting lines around the mask to adhere better. The eye and nose “holes” were just enough to let them through. Overall the fitting was just enough for my face.

Left the mask on for a good 30 minutes. The mask was loosing it ability to stay put although it was still a little damp on some areas. As the mask dried, it really resembled and felt like a thick tissue. But it was really soft.

Thoughts

My skin was instantly hydrated. I was hoping for a more “brighter” complexion, but it just made my skin look a bit “flushed”. I love how the essence was well absorbed. The formula of the essence dried up pretty quick after a 15 minutes.  It did  give my face a  very tachy/sticky  feel after which is a familiar result after a sheet mask experience. Because of that, I prefer using sheet masks after my night skin routine. The sticky feel won’t bother me while I sleep on it, but during the day, my skin would definitely  oil up even more.

The collagen and blueberry extracts revitalized my skin’s all over appearance. So a plus for brightening. As you can see, it also moisturized my skin. Immediately my dry patches were gone after a good soak with this mask. I was suppose to jump for joy because I found such an affordable find! But  just after a few minutes, bumps started appearing on my forehead and cheeks which indicated that my skin reacted to the mask! Such a bummer!

  1. I love sheet masks and blueberry, so this is one I would be interested in trying. That sucks your skin didn’t react the greatest to it. Fortunately, I haven’t had that problem with any face masks yet.
