Picked up a new foundation at the drugstore for $10. That contains 30 ml of the product. Not bad! I struggle with picking out my foundation shades especially if the testers are not available. I rely on reviews, images and foundation swatches before I purchase any product. On this blog, I wanted to share my thoughts about Milani’s 2 in 1 foundation to help you guys figure the product out before purchasing. So I hope this helps.
Milani Conceal+Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation claims to Combat under eye circles, redness and other skin imperfections with this full coverage, water-resistant foundation plus concealer in one. A no mess, no drip pump dispenses just the right amount of fluid needed to achieve a flawless look and works around the clock to keep skin looking naturally perfect!
Basically it’s a concealer and foundation in one bottle. Plus it’s sweatproof! I got mine in the shade Light Beige. There are 15 shades to choose form neutrals to warm. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump that’s great in dispensing the product.
First, I dotted the product around my face, then blend with a sponge and it did even out my skintone, but it settled on the dry patches around my chin area. It had a matte finish. I did not set it with a powder anymore since it was not sticky once fully dried. Not to mention it dried pretty quickly, and to a powdery finish. So when applying this type of foundation, it must be done quickly. The consistency was thicker as compared to the loreal true match foundation.
It had a meduim to full coverage but on me, my dark spots were still peeking through. The more I added product it would cake up. The foundation did oxidize on me. And yes, it settled on my under eye. I tried baking it, still after a few hours poof! fine lines appear!
- blends well with a sponge for thicker coverage go for a foundation brush.
- dries up to a matte powdery finish on me( I have oily to combination skin).
- no need to set with powder.
- sweatproof and long wearing.
- medium to full coverage.
- oil free.
- cakes up.
- settles in fine lines and dry patches.
I hope this helps you guys when picking out foundations. Let me know what drugstore foundations have you tried? Thanks for stopping by!
