Monthly Favorites

Summer is finally here! I love the sun, I love the air but my skin does not want that extra sun damage. I’ve included some makeup and skincare to look good on these summer days but at the same time staying protected from the harsh sun. This is my take on the “what’s in my makeup kit” but let’s keep it casual an call it a “Makeup Favorites!”. These are my go to products! I keep reaching on to these babies if I wanna wear makeup for work or running errands. Just to look decent. This is not the complete makeup kit, just the things I enjoy at the moment. I prefer an easy, fresh looking makeup for everyday. Nothing too wild or fancy, just an easy everyday makeup with sun protection. So if you wanna know how I keep my makeup au naturale, let’s keep scrolling shall we?

For my everyday look I use a foundation with atleast spf 15. The Loreal True Match in W3 gives a sheer coverage that brightens up my complexion to make it seem awake (even if I only had 4 hours of sleep!). I blend it out with my make up sponge and set it with the coty airspun powder.  Oops!I keep forgetting to mention the Benefit Porefessional Primer! This keeps my face from oiling up through the day and it’s amazing in blurring out my large pores.

But there are days when a foundation seems too much, so I just pump a little pea size of the Neutrogena Oil free moisturizer with spf 35. It’s not greasy and has no white cast (you know. . .that white color after effect when using a sunscreen) Spread it all over my face and neck then set it with powder.

Now for my eyes. It a must for me to use an eyelid primer because I have oily lids. I do this to prevent my eyeliner from smudging up to my upper eyelids. The Elf eye primer is so inexpensive ($2) and makes my eyelids matte. (Comment down below if you want a review on this =).

For my eyebrows, sometimes a good eyebrow brush makes my brows visible. I use the Essence Makeup Make me brow. This is great if you just want your brows to be lifted. Sometimes doing my eyebrows takes so much time! I just skip it and use an eyebrow mascara. I love the itsybitsy wand that goes with it.

The hoola bronzer gives a great contour.  It adds dimension and sculpts my cheek bones then I add my ever so lovely benetint!(Review coming soon =). Smudgeproof and has a natural pigment, sometimes adding a bit of the so susan blush. A rose gold shimmer looks great on sunny days.

To finish my look, I use the nyx buttergloss and butterlipstick to achieve my lips but better look. A dab of the butterlipstick in rootbeerfloat the I top off the buttergloss in angel food cake for added shine.

These are my makeup favorites. What have you loved this month? Share your thoughts down below! =)
